Case 01: Heating & plumbing, Southampton Six times the clicks from Google, in a year.
Our own local trade business, where every method is proven before a client is ever
asked to pay for it.

2.9average position, "boiler installation southampton"
- Situation
- A one-person trade business competing against national lead-generation directories and firms with decades of reviews behind them.
- What was wrong
- The site described the business instead of answering the searches people actually make. Nothing was built for "boiler repair" plus a place name, the phrasing that precedes a phone call.
- What was done
- A page for every service and every area genuinely covered, structured data throughout, the Business Profile rebuilt and pointed at the matching page rather than the homepage, and reviews worked systematically.
- What changed
- Clicks from Google rose from 19 to 121 over the same three months a year apart, on impressions up from 15,300 to 70,280. The commercial searches moved into the top ten, and the highest-value one, boiler installation, into the top three.

Case 02: Women's fitness studio, Southampton A brand-new website that brought in nothing.
An independent studio in a market crowded with national franchise gyms, competing
against marketing budgets it will never match.
28.9 → 18.5average position across all searches
Top 5for every core "women's gym Southampton" search
23% → 51%click-through when people search the studio by name
- Situation
- The owner had already paid for a brand-new website. It looked the part and produced almost no enquiries: the single most common story we see.
- What was wrong
- The site had been designed rather than built for search. It carried years of accumulated weight from an old platform, and none of its pages matched what women in the area actually type when they are looking for a gym.
- What was done
- A rebuild on a fast static site, pages written around real local searches rather than industry language, and a content system the studio can sustain around its own week.
- What changed
- Average position across every search the studio appears for improved from 28.9 to 18.5, roughly ten places. The searches that bring paying members moved into the top five, and into the top three for classes and ladies' boxing. When someone searches the studio by name, the share who click through has more than doubled.
- Still moving
- Total site clicks remain below last year's while pages from the old website retire out of the index. The commercial searches moved first, which is the order we want, but the migration is not finished, and we would rather say so than quote a number that flatters us.

Case 03: in progress
A thirteen-year-old outdoor fitness business in London with exceptional reviews and a
website that never mentioned its own area. The rebuild is underway; the study publishes
when the numbers are in, not before.
